Southwestern Hipster Luxury Renovation Project

For this home renovation that doubled the size of the original home, we drew inspiration from both southwestern and modern architectural styles. The flat roof lines and long profile of a traditional southwestern home are combined with modern clean lines and extensive use of glass to create a home of elegant simplicity. Though spacious, the home appears close to the ground and tightly surrounded by the land’s natural features, much as southwestern structures do. Inside, the cool metal and smooth details combine with warm stone and stucco to make a uniquely modern southwest home.
