Vail, Colorado Luxury Living
A primary/secondary duplex designed with two families in mind. Meant for multi-generational living in the heart of Vail, CO, these accommodations were conceptualized while thinking of grandkids, grandparents and everyone in between. The design challenge was to make the most of this ideal ski-in/ski-out location just below Born Free catwalk for both the winter and summer months. Great efforts were made to keep the homes unique but cohesive in style and materials.
The interiors are crafted with large family gatherings in mind, boasting generous suites, a recreation room for the kids, and more formally design spaces for adults. To make the most of the mountain views, the top floors embrace the main living areas. The team felt this space was most ideal for entertaining and relaxing and also did the best job of enticing residents outside for a ski or hike on Vail Mountain. In effort to truly make the outdoors an extension of the home, each duplex is dressed with its own large deck, a natural water feature, and thoughtfully designed landscaping providing privacy to each family.
