Casa Sara Tropical Vacation Home Architecture
Situated on the Pacific Ocean in Nicaragua, this tropical vacation home seamlessly blends outdoor and indoor living. Made up of five structures connected by covered walkways, Casa Sara feels like a private resort – spacious yet warm and inviting. The structures that house the kitchen, living space and bedrooms are simple and modern with clean lines. Features like high windows, French doors and bi-fold doors allow residents to open the spaces up to the outdoors. The open-air outdoor living space offers a place to connect, relax and enjoy the ocean view.
KH Webb worked heavily with local artisans to create the structures of Casa Sara. The mahogany wood elements from windows and doors to cabinetry were all built on site, a practice rarely seen today. The interior incorporates green practices through the sole use of natural and local materials throughout the home.
