Haystack House feels like a private resort – light, airy and inviting. Situated on a beautiful hillside on the luxurious island oasis of the Tryall Club near Montego Bay in Jamaica, this tropical nine-bedroom vacation home effortlessly blends outdoor and indoor living. Every common space–inside and out–has its own individuality and character, yet naturally connect for a cohesive, harmonious feel throughout the home. From the home’s entry to the picturesque shoreline, the project was a complete rebuild and update from the original house that was built nearly 20 years ago. In addition to using a new color palette and adding high-end finishes throughout, Kyle and his team squared up the home and foundation as well as altered the roof of the outdoor spaces to create unobstructed views of the Caribbean. A new double-size outdoor second-level porch flows from the spacious living room, allowing easy access to outdoor living and entertaining within a tropical paradise. The team incorporated high windows, vaulted ceilings, French doors and a sliding glass door system to allow the family and their guests seamless access to the outdoors throughout the home. The open-air outdoor living and entertaining spaces offer a place to connect, relax and enjoy the unbeatable ocean view.
