Sycamore Indianapolis Mountain Home Residential Architecture

This home was designed for a first-time client who vacations in Colorado but lives in Indianapolis. They admired much of the architecture they saw in Colorado and took photos of the houses they loved. When they learned that six of their eight photos were of homes designed by KH Webb, they knew they had found the architect for the home they were planning back in Indiana. The home draws inspiration from Japanese architecture with simple lines of stone and glass, a pagoda-inspired roofline and elegant pergolas. As outdoor enthusiasts, the client wanted comfortable outdoor living spaces as well as indoor spaces that use stone and wood accents from the local area. The client had specific requests and design priorities, and KH Webb worked quickly and collaboratively with them to create a home that serves multiple purposes: a comfortable primary residence, a spacious family retreat and an elegant space for formal entertaining.
