Heather Barrie

After receiving her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Virginia Tech, Heather packed her car and headed west, settling in New Mexico for a few years before making the move to Colorado’s Vail Valley. She designed for Alm Architects and Fritzlen Pierce Architects, both of Vail, before joining the KH Webb Architects team in 1999. Heather loves seeing a project through from start to finish: from showing a client drawings and developing them into 3D images to seeing the project come to life through construction. What Heather loves most about working with KH Webb are the clients: “Our clients are passionate people who push the envelope and bring a lot of personal requirements into the design. It’s a challenge I welcome because it defines the project and helps make it unique.” In her spare time, Heather is a “hockey mom” who embraces the mountain lifestyle and enjoys skiing.
